VICTORIES for Danny Roberts in the Grange Valley Youth Bowls League means he leads the way from deposed leaders Scot Brown and Mike Yule, who both lost out in shock defeats.
Mat Gatley returned from his holidays to record a double, but he then suffered a narrow defeat in his match against James Maher.
Louis Allen and Jack Harper were the main beneficiaries from the defeats of the leaders, winning both of their matches.
In the newcomers’ league Sophie Bishop returned to form with a double, while Luke Gatley and Jack Penketh continued their winning streak, along with Lauren Simpson, Maro Gibson, Chloe Mackinstosh and Daniel Campbell.
