NINE-year-old Niahm Talbot became the youngest champion in the 25-year history of Warrington Thai Boxing Club after winning the Celtic Challenge title at EventCity, Manchester.

Talbot, who was competing in her 14th fight and has been training since the age of six, defeated Manchester’s Mille O’Shea in the event, which pits English fighters and opponents from Ireland, Scotland and Wales.
