Bowls pair grab first round lead

KYLE CHAPMAN and Danny Parker blew away the opposition in the opening matches of the Irene Parfit Youth pairs’ competition at Tetley Walkers Bowls Club.

The duo won their first match 21-11 and their second round game 21-6, with Jack Hallet and Liam Sullivan also winning.

Louis Allen and Mike Roberts lead the way in the Irene Parfit junior pairs competition following victories against Scot Brown and Jordan Yule and Thomas and James Maher.
