Masters squad impress in Northwich

WARRINGTON Rowing Club returned from the Northwich Spring Head with a win and two second place finishes.
The Masters B quad sculls crew of Ian Smith, Dave Jordan, Andrzej Tadeusiak and Andrew Devereau – with a combined average age of 36 – were winners in 9mins 22secs.
Devereau had earlier gained second place with Maros Sloboda in the intermediate two double sculls, while Louise Bowyer recorded two second places, firstly in the women’s J18 single scull with a time of 10mins 43secs, and later in the women’s J18 double scull with partner Daisy Dell in 10mins 24secs.
