Champion quartet make history

WARRINGTON Table Tennis Club is celebrating double success after two of its junior teams were crowned league champions.
The under 15s team of James Chappell, Daniel Clarke, David Eden and Callum Allman stormed to a second consecutive Cadet League title victory by the biggest-ever winning margin in the league’s history, with a staggering 181 wins from 186 matches.
This came a day after their older counterparts had won the under 18s Junior League by just a single point, defeating Halton, Wigan, Wirral and Formby on the last match-day of the season.
