LYMM Ladies hockey team won 5-0 away to Whitchurch’s second string.

Snow on the pitch made playing conditions difficult and in a tightly-contested first half the home side matched Lymm stride for stride.

It took Hollie Acklam’s strike to break the deadlock, turning in a corner in the 29th minute.

The second half saw more rhythm to Lymm's play, captain Lisa Hartley-Woodrow scoring soon after the restart and Hollie Acklam quickly completing her hat-trick.

Susie Chiverton capped the performance with the game's fifth goal and was chosen by Whitchurch as the player of the game.
