IAN Pimlott has achieved a memorable win in the sport of harness racing.

The driver recorded an emphatic victory with Crown Manhattan in the William Hill British Pacing Championship Final at Wolverhampton on Friday.

Pimlott, who has a stable of trotters and pacers at High Leigh and has enjoyed major wins at Hereford, Musselburgh and Dundalk racecourses this year, broke the track record en route to winning £12,000 – the largest prize ever offered for a harness race in the UK.
