Hockey landslide as Lymm slam in 16 goals

LYMM women’s hockey team opened their Division Five campaign with a 16-0 win at Crewe Vagrants’ third string.
Captain Lisa Hartley, Jayne Buck, Hollie Acklam and Elly Davy completed hat-tricks, while the other scorers were Lynne Pyman, two, Helen Weston, and Sam Foxall.
Lymm kept a clean sheet thanks to an excellent full-length dive by goalkeeper Amy Heywood during the closing minutes.
