WARRINGTON Athletics Club’s Paul Dodsworth was the first veteran runner to finish the Antrobus Cabbage Canter 10-kilometre race.
He was second overall in 35mins 6secs, with club colleague Nev Jones finishing 40th in 53mins 12secs.
In the accompanying three-kilometre race, David Gerrard finished seventh in 14mins 22secs.
Louisa Wood was the second woman home in the Pennington Flash five-mile trail race in Leigh, placing 12th overall in 29mins 32secs.
