WARRINGTON boxer Amir Unsworth is aiming to soldier to his sixth win of an unbeaten professional career when he fights in Liverpool on Saturday.

The 27-year-old, a full-time soldier with the Mercian Regiment, faces Sheffield’s Dwayne Hill at the Liverpool Olympia. Hill will enter the ring with a record of nine wins and eight defeats from his 17 professional fights and a good contest is expected.

The Army have recognised Amir’s boxing as a recruitment opportunity.

From the end of August, he will move to Chester on a two-year posting with the Regimental/Army recruitment team.

That will give him a more settled lifestyle so he can train properly as well as promote the Army.
