ADRIAN Morley has backed Jimmy Lowes to turn around Wolves' fortunes and expects the acting head coach to be in charge for the rest of the season.
Having been overlooked when Karl Harrison left Salford last season, Lowes will finally get his opportunity to take charge of a side for the first time when Wolves travel to Harlequins on Sunday, kick-off 3pm.
"We’ve had a few applications but at the moment we’re just looking"

Lowes, who was Wolves' assistant before Paul Cullen's exit last week, has made it clear that he would like the job on a full-time basis but says he is still unsure about the board's plans.
Chairman Doug Hoyle has told the Warrington Guardian that no decisions have yet been made about the club's next coach.
But captain Morley would have no objections if his former Leeds teammate Lowes was given the job, saying: "The players really get on well with Jimmy.
"We've never had him as head coach before but as an assistant he's great. He's been at the club for about 12 months now and the boys get on well with him and he's got a lot of good ideas.
"I don't think he'll be changing too much in a short space of time but the longer he stays in the job, the more we'll see him stamp his personal authority on the team.
"I'm pleased Jimmy has got the opportunity to steer the ship for the rest of the year. That's what I'm being led to believe.
"I don't know 100 per cent what the board are thinking but from my reckoning I think Jimmy's in charge for the rest of the year. I think it's with an opportunity to actually prove himself to be the coach for next year as well.
"I think they're going to look at him and see what he can do.
"If they think he can do the job they'll keep him on and if they think they need to look elsewhere I think they will.
"I'm sure Jimmy's excited at the challenge and the boys are looking forward to working with him too."
Wolves are still considering their long-term options and have suggested that a decision is not imminent, although Simon Moran has indicated to agents that he has someone in mind initially.
Moran has not revealed who that person is but it is not ex-Leeds and New South Wales coach Graham Murray, who officially retired two weeks ago and would need some persuasion to take another job, and neither is it Steve Folkes, who has declared his interest in the job.
Ian Millward will become Canberra's assistant next season and is not in the running, while Doncaster have insisted that they have still not received any approach for Ellery Hanley.
A board meeting has not been held since Cullen's departure and final decisions might not be made before the next regular meeting of the board, which is scheduled to take place later this month.
A source last week revealed that the club are keen to deliver a 'world-class coach' but Lord Hoyle says there have been no developments in the past week.
The Wolves chairman said: "We're in the same position as last week, we've had a few applications but at the moment we're just looking and we're taking a long-term view.
"We're not rushing into it and no decisions have been made.
"We need to find the right person and Paul Cullen isn't an easy person to replace.
"At the moment we're just concentrating on giving James Lowes our full backing and letting everyone settle down."
