WARRINGTON Town’s pre-season preparations continue tonight as they travel to Skelmersdale United.

The sides have arranged to meet at JMO Sports Park, with kick off at 8pm.

Yellows boss Paul Carden is likely to be looking once more at some players who are on trial with the club as he continues the search to beef up his defensive options.

Tonight is Town’s penultimate pre-season game – they travel to Trafford for a friendly on Saturday – with the new Evo-Stik Premier Division season kicking off in just over a weeks’ time.

On Friday night, Carden watched his side record a 3-1 victory over a Clitheroe side now managed by ex-Yellows boss Stuart Mellish.

Tony Gray struck twice for Warrington, with new signing Jack Dunn also on the scoresheet.
