LYMM rower Lucy Glover has been named in the Great Britain squad for the World Rowing under 23s Championships.
The former Warrington Rowing Club member, who now competes for Edinburgh University, will once again be part of the women’s quad sculls crew for the championships, which are being held in Poznan, Poland, and begin on July 25.
Ex- Lymm High School pupil Glover, 19, will aim to help Great Britain retain the gold medal she helped them win at last year’s event in Plovdiv, Bulgaria.
Two of her teammates from last year’s crew – Tideway Scullers’ Saskia Budgett and Nottingham RC’s Kyra Edwards – are in the boat once again this year and they are joined by Zoe Adamson of Leander.
