WARRINGTON Town return to Cantilever Park tonight for their first home friendly of pre-season.
They host League Two side Tranmere Rovers – manager Paul Carden’s former club – in what is their second friendly in preparation for the 2018-19 campaign.
They drew 0-0 in their first run-out against Wythenshawe Town on Saturday in a game which saw new signings Alex Honeyball, Josh Amis and Richard Brodie get their first run-outs in a Yellows shirt.
There are just under three weeks remaining until Town open their Evo-Stik Premier Division campaign at home to Farsley Celtic on August 18, during which time Carden’s side will squeeze in seven friendly matches.
Entry to tonight’s game costs £5 for adults and £2 for concessions and under 16s.
Tranmere are thought to be sending a strong side to Cantilever Park as they prepare for life back in the Football League.
A list of the remaining pre-season games is below:

Saturday – Runcorn Town (A)
July 24 – Stockport County (H)
July 28 – Ashton Town (A)
