JACK Draper, son of former Warrington Wolves boss Roger Draper, has narrowly missed out on a piece of Wimbledon history.
The 16-year-old lost in three sets to the top seed Tseung Chun-hsin, 6-1 6-7 (2-7) 6-4.
Draper was hoping to become the first Brit to win the junior boys title since 1962.
But despite winning the second set, he lost a tight decider. He won his place in the final in a dramatic four-hour semi-final on Friday.
Roger Draper left Wolves in 2016 to take a job with Super League after being chief executive as the club lost the Challenge Cup Final and Grand Final in the same year.
Draper's previous job was chief executive for the Lawn Tennis Association with runs the sport in Great Britain.
