WARRIORS of Warrington Swimming Club had a staggering medal haul at a recent meeting in Sheffield.
Club members combined to bring home a total of 58 medals from the Retford Open Meet, with Rokia Farag responsible for 10 of those.
Sophie Sinclair won eight medals, while Daniel and Thomas Hilton were among the top-performing boys with a combined seven medals.
George Daintith claimed six medals to go with five from Andrew Trevor.
Owen Burgess put in a big performance to break the minute barrier in the 100m freestyle – stopping the clock at 59.49secs – while Adam Albera, Alfie Gardiner-Johnson, Rikin Patel, Jacob Pryor, Reuben Smalley and Tyler Wilson also picked up medals.
For the girls, Rosie Barker-Meyer, Erin Carless, Chloe Fullerton, Millie Manuel and Hannah Smith were the other Warriors members to come home with prizes.
While they may not have picked up medals, Maya Gleeson, Laura Harrison, Noah Kirk, Elizabeth Lewis, Nathan Thomas and Beatrice Trevor all produced their best times to date.
