FOUR current Wire players – and three more incoming faces – have been named in the England Youth squad for their tour of France next month.
Morgan Burgess, George Roby, Connor Wrench and Josh Thewlis, who were all part of Warrington’s unbeaten scholarship side this season, have been named in head coach Danny Wilson’s squad for the two-Test series.
In addition, three of the club’s academy signings for next year, Jacob Gannon, Dave Gibbins and Ellis Longstaff, are also included.
“I am delighted for them all. This is just reward for all the hard work and dedication that they have shown,” Wolves head of youth Pete Riding said.
“To get the opportunity to represent your county at any level is a fantastic achievement and everyone here at Warrington Wolves is extremely proud of them.”
England Youth will face France on Friday, July 13, and Monday, July 16, in Le Barcarès, Perpignan.
