TWO of Warrington’s chess teams completed important victories in their last games.
Culcheth/Lymm A produced a 3½-2½ victory over St Helens in the Peninsula Cup.
Winwick also emerged victorious as they won 3-1 at Northwich in the Richard Furness 500 League.
