ADAM Garrod was in fine form to help Warrington’s men’s first team to victory over Bolton’s seconds.
Garrod struck a hat-trick for the visitors, who also had Matt Petitt on the scoresheet in their 4-2 victory.
They host Blackpool’s seconds on Saturday, push back 2.15pm at Priestley College.
Elsewhere, the women’s first team battled hard but fell to a 3-1 defeat at Deeside’s seconds.
Meg Sutch, Sally Froggatt and Hannah Johnson all had chances to score before the hosts took the lead before Jayne Buck and Louise Sullivan combined to set up Sally Fraser for the equaliser.
However, Deeside pulled clear to ensure Warrington went home empty-handed.
They face a ‘derby’ clash on Saturday as they welcome Lymm’s seconds to Priestley College, push back 12.45pm.
The women’s seconds were also beaten, falling to a 3-0 home loss to Brooklands’ thirds, and they will look to bounce back on Saturday when they travel to Lymm Leisure Centre to take on Lymm’s thirds, push back 3.30pm.
