WARRINGTON Town boss Paul Carden hopes the returning Scott Bakkor can “find a home” with his side.
Bakkor played for his hometown club towards the end of last season but decided to move on from Yellows for this campaign.
However, after spells with Curzon Ashton and Marine, the winger is back at Cantilever Park and made his second debut in Tuesday’s 2-0 defeat at Ashton United.
Carden admits to being “disappointed” by the way Bakkor left the club but is more than happy to have the 23-year-old back.
“Scott was probably our best player at Ashton when he came on at half time,” he said.
“He didn’t even ask about money, he just wanted to come back.
“He was in my plans for this season and I was a bit disappointed with the way he left for Curzon Ashton.
“Even when he went to Marine, he said he didn’t get in touch with me because he thought he’d burnt his bridges.
“He’s definitely got something but for whatever reason, he seems to have bounced around a bit.
“Scott just needs somewhere he can call home and I hope he can find that home with us.”
