TONY Smith has confirmed Wolves’ starting team will be unchanged for Saturday’s game against Hull Kingston Rovers.

The game represents Smith’s final match in charge of The Wire and it is only the second time he has been able to name the same starting 13 for consecutive games in 2017.

“I don’t get the privilege of saying this very often, but we’re going with the same starting team,” he said.

“I think it’s the first week, or one of them at least, that we’ve had no changes for any particular reason!

“The bench will change, Andre Savelio will be the only one from last week that will play.

“Joe Philbin will come in, as will Benjamin Jullien and Brad Dwyer. They will be the only changes.”

The news means Jack Johnson, who scored twice from the bench in Sunday’s win at Featherstone Rovers, drops out along with George King and Morgan Smith.

Barring any late injury, it also means Jack Hughes will finish 2017 having started every game in all competitions for The Wire.
