WOLVES look set to have three players back from injury for Sunday’s Middle 8s trip to Featherstone Rovers.
Head of coaching and rugby Tony Smith confirmed second-rower Ben Currie, hooker Daryl Clark and centre Ben Pomeroy are all in contention to feature at Post Office Road.
Currie has been missing since suffering a knee injury in the win over Widnes Vikings on July 20, just two games after returning from a 10-month absence through surgery on the same knee.
Pomeroy, who is out of contract at season’s end, has not featured since suffering a fractured toe in the 16-10 win at Wigan on July 13.
Clark limped out of The Wire’s 52-24 win over Catalans on August 12 and has undergone minor surgery to correct a meniscus issue in his knee.
