WOLVES winger Tom Lineham looks set to miss the rest of 2017, head of coaching and rugby Tony Smith says.
Lineham has 21 tries in all competitions this season and looks set to finish as The Wire’s top try scorer, but an elbow injury will deny him the chance to add to his tally.
“Tommy looks like missing out on the last two games,” Smith said.
“He’s got an elbow issue that needs tidying up so we will probably be without him.”
The former Hull winger’s absence means Wolves will have a completely new-look left edge for Sunday’s game against Featherstone, with Ryan Atkins also sidelined after having hernia surgery.
