DARYL Clark will be missing “for a few weeks” with a knee injury, Wolves head of coaching and rugby Tony Smith says.
The hooker left the field during the first half of The Wire’s 52-24 victory over Catalans Dragons and did not return for the rest of the game.
Matty Russell also went off injured at The Halliwell Jones Stadium, while Mike Cooper was not involved at all.
Smith gave an update on all three players but admits he may have to do without Clark for some time.
“We could be without Daryl Clark for a few weeks. He's got some meniscus issues that need tidying up,” he said.
"Matty Russell got a knock to his back scoring his try and got a couple more bangs to it and succumbed to that.
"Losing those two affected us but we coped with it. Young Morgan Smith put in a great shift again.
“Mike Cooper has a little tear in his oblique.
"We're thinking a week, maybe two. He has a chance for next week."
