WARRINGTON Athletics Club veteran David Gill won a staggering six medals having competed in three different events over the weekend.
After finishing fifth in his over 55s age group, and 152nd overall, in the Sale Sizzler on Thursday, Gill collected five medals in Saturday’s Eastern Masters Championships in Southend.
He won gold in the 100m race, silver in the 200m, 800m and 3,000m and bronze in the 400m.
Not content with that, Gill ran the Caterham Rotary half-marathon on Sunday and won the over 55s title by clocking 1hour 28mins 38secs.
