ST Joseph’s Primary School’s mini tennis team are celebrating after earning the right to take on the best in Cheshire.
The four-strong team from the Penketh school won the Warrington mini tennis tournament and were set to play at the Cheshire county tournament tomorrow, Wednesday.
Two girls and two boys from Years Three and Four played five games each and lost only once between them.
St Joseph’s reached the semi finals of the Warrington tournament last year but this will be the first time they have competed at county level.
