APPLETON triathlete Paul Harbidge and his son Dan will represent Great Britain against the rest of Europe on Sunday.
The father-and-son duo, who are both members of Warrington Triathlon Club, will head to Germany to compete in the European Sprint Distance Triathlon Championships, which are being held in Dusseldorf.
The race consists of a 750-metre open water swim, a 20km bike ride and a 5km run.
Paul, 56, and his 23-year-old son qualified to race in their respective age groups by competing at the British Championships in Nottingham last year.
Dan only took up the sport four years ago, having been inspired by the exploits of the Brownlee brothers at the 2012 Olympic Games in London.
