WOLVES have confirmed Rhys Evans is to leave the club at the end of the season.
The 24-year-old Wales international, who made his Wolves debut in 2010 after joining the club on a scholarship alongside brother Ben, will join Leigh Centurions ahead of the 2018 season.
Evans is currently suffering with a shoulder injury that is expected to keep him out for the remainder of the season.
This means the 40-18 victory over St Helens on May 5, a game in which he scored a try, is likely to be his last game for The Wire.
He has made 105 appearances for the club in total.
"Rhys and his family demonstrated a fantastic commitment to Wolves and his rugby league career by relocating from Wales to Warrington at a young age," Wolves chief executive Karl Fitzpatrick said.
"His commitment bore fruit as he progressed from our youth programme to make his first-team debut back in 2010.
"We’d like to thank Rhys for his contribution throughout his time at the club and wish him well in this new chapter of his career."
