APPLETON Tigers were bowled out for 81 in defeat to Trinity.
The target of 149 would have been a much bigger total had it not been for Jess Lewis and Kathryn Jackson each taking two crucial wickets as the Trinity batters started to look comfortable.
Holly McCurrie, 30, and Laura Jackson, 18, looked comfortable together but both fell as they attempted to accelerate the scoring rate.
Long provided a brief revival with a quick 10 runs but it was not enough to stop the rot.
