HARVEY Livett has said his hamstring injury does not require surgery.
The 20-year-old Wolves man's injury first came to light on Tuesday when Wolves boss Tony Smith said Livett was set to have surgery miss the rest of the season.
Livett sustained the injury in goal-kicking practice prior to Sunday's Challenge Cup victory over Widnes Vikings, a game he was due to start at centre.
However, the former Cardinal Newman High School student tweeted to say going under the knife was not necessary.
Good news today, no surgery needed👏🏻 So head down now and get stuck into the rehab. Thanks for all the messages much appreciated👍🏻 @wolvesrl
