RHYS Evans says Wolves’ current form is down to their ‘never-say-die attitude’ but admits that can only sustain them for so long.

Having won four and drawn one of their past five games, The Wire currently boast the longest unbeaten run in Super League.

However, Wolves’ performances have remained mostly patchy and Evans says the team are working hard to “make games easier” for themselves.

“We take it week by week, we’ve got four wins in a row but three of them have been pretty scrappy,” he said.

“Last week we were behind for pretty much the whole game and we pulled it back to win right at the end. That takes a lot of character.

“There’s big characters in the dressing room and we have a never-say-die attitude in general.

“We just need to keep hold of the ball and be a bit smarter with our plays to make the games a little bit easier.”

Tomorrow sees Wolves travel to a Hull FC side fresh from beating league leaders Castleford on Sunday.

However, Evans says The Wire will respect but not fear the Black and Whites.

“On their day, they can beat anyone so we need to turn up and give them the respect they deserve,” he said.

“If we play to our potential, we know we can come away with the points.”
