WARRINGTON’S British powerboat champion Paul Balfour will get the defence of his crown underway over the Bank Holiday Weekend.
Balfour is one of 50 competitors in action at the Lancashire Grand Prix, the opening round of the 2017 Powerboat GP British Championship.
Carr Mill Dam in St Helens will host the event and Balfour will be looking to take advantage of familiar conditions as he begins the defence of the F2 class title he won last year.
