TWO silver medals and five personal bests were achieved by Warrington Athletics Club runners in the Wigan Open Meeting.
In the under 17s girls’ events at Robin Park, Rebecca Hardy won her heat in the 100m in a new best 13.26secs and was second in the 80m hurdles in 13.93secs.
Rachel Hardy was fourth behind Rebecca in the 100m in 14.30secs and was third in the 200m in 29.68secs, with both times being her finest yet.
At under 15s boys’ level Daniel Hardman was sixth in his 100m event and second in his 200m race with personal best times of 13.95secs and 29.44secs.
Sisters Maisie and Harriet Bell were the only Warrington AC runners to travel to Crossford Bridge for the Sale Harriers Over The Bales Cross Country Races.
Maisie finished seventh in the under 13s girls’ race, while Harriet was 18th in the under 11s band.
