WOLVES could be without winger Tom Lineham for up to three games after being hit with an RFL disciplinary charge.

Lineham was sin-binned in Thursday’s 22-8 loss to Leigh Centurions for striking home full-back Ryan Hampshire after he was obstructed when trying to make a break.

After the incident was looked at by the RFL’s Match Review Panel, Lineham was hit with a Grade C striking charge, which carries a ban of between two and three games as part of its recommended sanction.

Meanwhile, Centurions second rower Glenn Stewart also looks set to be banned for the high tackle that left Wolves stand-off Kevin Brown out cold.

Stewart was yellow-carded for the incident in the 47th minute at Leigh Sports Village and receives a Grade C charge, meaning he too could miss up to three games.

Both players have the option of an Early Guilty Plea.

Meanwhile, Andre Savelio has escaped a charge after two incidents involving him, a 54th-minute late tackle on Ben Reynolds and use of the knees against Adam Higson in the 62nd minute, were reviewed.

Ben Westwood will also avoid a sanction for a dangerous throw on Jamie Acton in the eighth minute.
