Latchford Albion 20 Parachute Regiment 20

A LARGE crowd saw Albion play out a thrilling draw with the Parachute Regiment on Fridaynight.

Joe Clarke finished off a spell of heavy Latchford pressure early on to cross for the game’s opening try at Victoria Park Stadium.

However, it was the Paras that took the half-time initiative with two scores to lead 10-4.

Latchford stormed out of the traps after the break when solid work from the forwards led to Clarke scoring his second try of the night.

Skipper Ryan Hickman forced his way over to nudge Albion ahead before Stuart Simm crossed in the corner to seemingly win the game, but two late Paras tries ensured the game ended in deadlock.
