CHESHIRE Wire Green’s developing under 14s squad are continuing to progress.

They twice fought back at home to National Basketball League North West One high flyers Stockport Falcons on Saturday before slipping to a 73-59 loss.

Their spirit and ability was seen in clawing back a 12-point deficit to only trail 20-17 at the end of the first quarter but ultimately Falcons were too strong for a second time this season.

Louis Farrish scored 17pts, including several three-pointers, while Max Pedder and Cameron Brasendale contributed to the scoring with double doubles of 12pts and 13 rebounds and 12pts and 10 rebounds respectively.

Barney Harris also chipped in with 12 points.
