LYMM ladies’ first team had a mixed weekend, losing to Alderley Edge on Saturday before beating Kingston-upon Hull in the cup on Sunday.
A late goal from captain Lisa Hartley-Woodrow could not stop Alderley coming away with a 3-1 victory after building up a good lead.
However, the team responded the following day against an experienced Hull outfit, with Jess Sutton’s goal earning them the win.
The ladies’ thirds were beaten 3-2 by Alderley Edge fourths despite goals from Anna Dempsey and Katy Arber.
