Daten secured a thrilling 4-3 win at Cheadle Town reserves, while Grappenhall Sports advanced in the Cheshire FA Amateur Cup with a 1-0 home win over Shaftesbury Youth Club.

Both sides are at home in the Guardian Cup on Saturday, with Daten facing Sidac and Grappenhall entertaining The Village, while Warrington Town reserves will look to continue their fine form at home to FC St Helens.

Moore United bowed out of the county cup when they were beaten 4-2 at home by Chester Nomads despite a double from Joe Holt.

They too turn their attentions to the Guardian Cup on Saturday when they travel to Croft.

Orford had the weekend off but they return to league action on Saturday when they host Maine Road reserves.
