THE Wire will kick off their Super 8s campaign with a home game against St Helens, the RFL have announced.

The full fixtures for the next stage of Super League have now been finalised after Wolves secured second place in the table at the end of the regular rounds.

Keiron Cunningham’s side will make the trip to The Halliwell Jones Stadium on Thursday, August 4, just five days after the Challenge Cup semi-final against Wakefield, and the game will be broadcast live on Sky Sports.

A longer, 10-day turnaround follows as they take on the Wildcats in their next game on Sunday, August 14.

Castleford Tigers visit Warrington the following Saturday before Tony Smith’s men make the long trip to France to face Catalans Dragons on Saturday, September 3.

Two consecutive home games follow against local rivals Widnes Vikings and Wigan Warriors before Wolves round off the Super 8s with a trip to current league leaders Hull FC on Friday, September 23.

Wolves need four wins from these seven games to be mathematically certain of a place in the semi-finals.
