WOLVES prop Ashton Sims looks set to miss Friday’s Challenge Cup quarter final after being cited for a high tackle.

The Australian has been charged by the RFL’s Match Review Panel with a Grade B High Tackle during last week’s 20-18 win over Catalans.

The charge relates to an incident in the 7th minute in which Sims challenged Dragons forward Jason Baitieri.

Sims does not have the option of an Early Guilty Plea and faces a ban of 1-2 matches.

This will be the second suspension the prop has served in recent weeks after he was handed a one-match suspension for his role in a punch-up with Leeds’ Brad Singleton during Wolves’ 52-18 win last month.

Scrum-half Chris Sandow has escaped further action for a high tackle of his own on Catalans winger Jodie Broughton.

Tony Gigot was sin-binned on Friday evening for a dangerous tackle on Wolves’ Ryan Atkins and he could now face a ban of up to three matches after being charged with a Grade C offence.
