WOLVES head of coaching and rugby Tony Smith has named his 19-man squad for Friday’s game against Catalans Dragons, with four key players returning from injury.

Full-back Matty Russell, winger Kevin Penny and second rowers Ben Westwood and Jack Hughes have all been included as Wolves look to bounce back from last week’s defeat to league leaders Hull FC.

Hughes has been missing since breaking a bone in his hand in the home win over Wigan on April 28, while Russell has recovered from the hamstring injury he suffered during the Magic Weekend defeat to Castleford.

Penny, who was in last week’s squad but failed to make the matchday 17, had a hamstring injury of his own picked up in the defeat at Wakefield on May 15, while Westwood has missed the last two games with a calf knock.

They replace Tom Lineham, Gene Ormsby and Sam Wilde in the squad.

Meanwhile, Catalans coach Laurent Frayssinous is missing several big players from his side, including the former Wire pair of Richie Myler and Louis Anderson.

Paul Aiton, Dave Taylor, Krisnan Inu and Willie Mason are also missing for the Frenchmen.
