Latchford Albion 36 Bank Quay Bulls 8
ALBION got back to winning ways after seeing off Ban Quay in front of special matchday guest Bob Jackson at Victoria Park Stadium.
Wire legend Jackson watched the hosts fight back from falling behind early with tries from Drew Bradley and Stu Simm, both converted by Lewis Wightman to make it 12-4 at the interval.
Full-back Wightman crossed for a try of his own after the break before skipper Ryan Hickman barged over and Dave Levenson finished off a break from man-of-the-match Danny Brown to put the game out of sight.
Bradley rounded off Latchford’s scoring before the visitors scored a late consolation try.
The result means Albion remain second in the North West Men’s League Division One, two points behind leaders Orrell St James.
