BRAD Dwyer says he is challenging himself against the best in Warrington Wolves teammate Daryl Clark.

The hooker, below, impressed on his return to Super League last season after a loan stint in the Championship with London Broncos.

And the 22-year-old hopes to build on his inter-change partnership with former Man of Steel Clark during the 2016 campaign.

“It’s as good as it can be,” said Wigan-born Dwyer on his relationship with former Castleford star Clark.

“Daryl’s his own player and he does what he does, and I do what I do. We both get on and we’re both competitive with each other as well.

“Obviously he’s been one of the best there is with that year he won Man of Steel, so he’s really good to play alongside and I’m challenging myself against the best.”

Dwyer, who has also had spells at Huddersfield and Swinton, found last season a confidence boost.

“The London stint gave me a lot of confidence and the Warrington stint did as well when I came back,” said the youngster, who was recalled by head of coaching and rugby Tony Smith when Micky Higham left for Leigh Centurions.

“I knew I would be playing and it gave me confidence to be playing week in, week out. I could build on my performances.

“That was good for me, and hopefully there will be a bit more of that this year and I’ll get more minutes under my belt.

“I want to be a bit fitter for Super League, because last year I don’t think I was when I came back.”
