Joe Clarke opened the scoring, with Jamie Howard converting, before Mike Reid and Jordan Burke added further tries.

Howard then raced 80 metres for a try converted by Gary O'Brien but Wigan and Leigh responded well to win the second half 10-0. Anthony Whelan was the Warrington side's top tackler.

PLAYER of the match Matt Dowman scored Warrington's only try as they were beaten by Wigan.
