WARRINGTON Rowing Club came home with four wins from the Runcorn Autumn Head - a 4500 metre time trial on the River Weaver.

The men's masters C squad, women's J18 double, women's WIM3 all took first places, as did Pippa Curran in the singles.

The women's novice quad of Jen Hind, Celia Critchley, Vicky Tickle and Sasha Collins came second in their event, while the women's WJ16 quad of Rachel Ozsanlav-Harris, Cameron Nyland, Abigail Ellam and Bethany Rigby also took second.

Meanwhile, the women's J16 Grace Rooney, Dominique Billingham, Megan Dumbavand, Alex Brilus entered above their age category in Women's .IM2.4+ against some very formidable university crews and finished an impressive fourth.

Phil Higginson came second in his Mas C.Nov single.

Kicking off the wins was the Men's Masters C coxed four of Greg Millar, Seb Miller, Peter Luke and Mike Selway with cox Dominique Billingham, who finished first in their event in a time of 19:53.03.

Also competing were the Men's Masters C Quad of Adam Lumley, Phil Higginson, John Goode and Alasdair Elder who finished a hard fought row against the Runcorn opposition in a time of 18:03.03 and 2nd in their event.

The Women's J18 double of Ayesha Wooler and Ellie Davies then won their event in a time of 19:56.08, while the Women's WIM3, a double of Charlotte Brennan and Charlotte Moll, came home first in a time of 19:21.06.

In the singles, Curran won her W.IM1.single while Lucy Stanhope came third in her WJ18. Single.
