THE women’s second team were Warrington Hockey Club’s only winners at this week.

They triumphed 3-0 over Brooklands-Poynton’s fourth team to maintain the 100 percent record for the season.

Warrington had all the possession but struggled to find the back of the net until Molly Rudd broke the deadlock after half time.

Rudd continued her goal-scoring form with a second and Jenny Fox made it comfortable by adding the third.

The women’s first team went down 1-0 to Brooklands-Poynton’s thirds, despite excellent debuts from Jayne Wood and Emma Frew.

Warrington men’s first team recovered from 2-0 down against Springfields thanks to goals from Ben Vickers and AJ Edwards.

The men’s second team were outplayed by Liverpool John Moores University in a 7-2 defeat. Adam Hooper came on to solidify the defence but it was too late to save the game.
