WARRINGTON Wolves prop Ashton Sims has been handed a suspension after being charged of stamping on Wigan Warriors player Lee Mossop in the 27th minute of last Friday's Super 8s game.
Sims pleaded guilty and has been banned for one match this evening at an independent disciplinary tribunal.
The former North Queensland Cowboys enforcer will miss Wolves' home clash with Hull on Sunday, September 6.
Ben Pomeroy of Catalans Dragons was charged with making a Grade E dangerous throw on Castleford Tigers player Ashley Gibson in the 29th minute.
He has been suspended for six matches, which means he will miss the clash with Wolves at The Halliwell Jones Stadium on Saturday, September 19.
