THREE players have been charged with offences committed in Ladbrokes Challenge Cup quarter-final ties - including Warrington Wolves' Ben Currie.

Wolves' leading try scorer Currie has been charged with the Grade C offence of making deliberate physical contact with a match official in the 62nd minute of Saturday's tie against Leigh Centurions.

England hopeful Currie, one of Wolves' stand-out performers this season, has also been issued with a formal caution for kicking out in a 62nd-minute tackle by Jake Emmitt in the same fixture.

Any suspension will see Currie miss Wolves' clash with Wigan Warriors on Thursday.

Wolves were down to 18 fit players at the weekend and have already lost James Laithwaite from that list with a spiral fracture of his fibula.

Fuifui Moimoi of Leigh has been charged with making Grade B dangerous contact with Daryl Clark in the 77th minute of the same match.

Joe Greenwood of St Helens has been charged with making Grade C dangerous contact on Widnes Vikings player Kevin Brown in the 68th minute.

All three players were charged after the incidents were viewed by the RFL Match Review Panel, which also issued a formal caution to Luke Walsh of St Helens for kicking out in a 37th-minute tackle by Widnes player Kevin Brown.

Currie, MoiMoi and Greenwood have until 11.00am on Tuesday June 30 to submit Early Guilty Pleas.
