Green is fastest over 45
FOUR Warrington Athletics Club runners took part in the Wilmslow Half Marathon on Sunday.
Graham Green was first to finish in 23rd place in 71 minutes 37 seconds to finish in first place in the over 45 age group, while Andy Green finished in 42nd place in 74 minutes 26 seconds to take first in the over 50 age group.
Graham’s son Adam finished in 152nd place recording 82 minutes 40 seconds and Steve Watmough finished as ninth over 50 in 228th place in 85 minutes 42 seconds.
Sale Harriers Open Indoor meeting, held at Sportcity, was attended by only one Warrington Athletics Club athlete with Ladislav Taric finishing seventh in his 60 metres race in 8.10 seconds.
