WARRINGTON recovered from a heavy defeat at Lymm to beat Blackburn in Standish Media Services Division One on Saturday.
It began at a furious pace with three tries in five minutes.
Warrington opened the scoring from the kick off through Max Caldwell and but Blackburn were level with three minutes played.
A solo 40-yard try from Nathan Beesley put the hosts back ahead and three penalties from Luke Wood saw them lead at the break.
With the game still in the balance, Warrington showed their class in the second half.
Josh Downes was the first to cross after the interval and Zak Lythgoe touched down from an interception.
Blackburn's pack forced over from short range but Warrington held on to leapfrog their opponents and move into fourth spot in the league.
